Bringing dormant Android devices back to life is a topic Linux magazine investigates.
Due to a lack of drivers in the open source code, each mobile device requires its own Android build. Manufacturers cant keep up with supporting newer versions of Android on older devices.
Subsequently 1997, when I first saw Linux, Ive been using it and have since hacked several other operating systems. Its annoying that they dont support older devices properly. Supporting a product is a must if you want people to buy and utilise it.
